The closing ceremony of World Environment Day was celebrated on 1st August 2022 in Kakatiya Hall of NTPC Ramagundam. Shri Sunil Kumar CGM (R&T) was the Chief Guest for the event.

The ceremony started by lighting of lamp followed by NTPC Geeth.
Later, cultural programs such as dance and skit with the impetus on shaping the environment were performed by students of ZPHS School, Kendriya Vidyala and Sachadeva School.

Guest of Honour, Environment Engineer of Telangana State Pollution Control Board Shri. K. Ravi Das underlined the importance of safeguarding the natural resources and preserve the environment at large.

CGM R&T stressed the individual actions that can promote a cleaner future. He also encouraged the gathering to take all possible steps to keep the mother earth pollution free and beautiful.

The event concluded by distributing prizes to the winners of various competitions organized on the occasion of World Environment Day 2022 by the EMG Dept of NTPC Ramagundam.
